Free In Store Pickup

All online purchases are eligible for free pickup at our Gravenhurst location. Some conditions apply.

We will email you when your order is ready for pickup and you will need to bring ID to collect your parcel. For more information on the status of an in-store pickup order, please contact our main office at 800-661-1429 or email webstore@swiftcanoe.com

Shipping within Canada

Orders are sent via Standard Post unless otherwise specified. Orders are insured in case of damage or loss. Applicable provincial and federal taxes are applied when your order is processed according to where the item will be shipped. Retail orders are shipped from Gravenhurst, ON Monday through Friday, and take one to two business days to process, in addition to the delivery times shown. Isolated and rural areas may take longer. Parts orders are shipped from our factory in South River on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Taxes

If an order is shipped to the following provinces or territories, we must collect the applicable taxes as described:

New Brunswick (NB)  15% HST on merchandise and freight
Nova Scotia (NS)  15% HST on merchandise and freight
Prince Edward Island (PE)  15% HST on merchandise and freight
Newfoundland (NL)  15% HST on merchandise and freight
Northwest Territories (NT)  5% GST on merchandise and freight
Yukon (YT)  5% GST on merchandise and freight
Nunavut (NU)  5% GST on merchandise and freight

Canadian taxes are not collected on orders shipped outside of Canada. However, orders shipped outside of Canada are subject to import duties, taxes, and customs processing fees, which are levied once the package reaches its destination. These fees are collected by the carrier or brokerage company and members are responsible for paying them. We are unable to give estimates for these fees. Please contact your local customs office for more information.

Shipping to the USA

Orders sent to the USA are shipped by Xpresspost.  Orders shipped to the USA are not charged Canadian taxes; however, all orders pass through customs and are subject to import dutiestaxes, and custom processing fees. A customs invoice will arrive with your parcel or may follow in the mail. Recipients are responsible for paying these additional fees.

We are unable to provide estimates for customs fees. Check with your local customs office for more information.

Shipping Restrictions

Shipping restrictions may apply to certain products and destinations. These restrictions include regional distribution agreements, hazardous or over-sized products, and complexity in exporting some items.

 

IN STORE RETURN POLICY

We are happy to accept returns IN STORE for 14 days for a full refund, and 30 days for a store credit. All items must be in new, unused condition with all original packaging and your purchase receipt.

*Please note that some items cannot be returned or are considered final sale

– Special orders may be subject to an admin/restocking fee

– Some specialized custom orders will be final sale

– Items purchased at 30% off or more are final sale

– Used canoes, kayaks and paddleboards are final sale

Canoes, Kayaks and Paddle boards cannot be returned for refund, but can be exchanged if necessary

Value will be based on condition of product returned (i.e. unused product in new, sellable condition would be eligible for full credit).

*Items purchased with a gift card cannot be returned for cash. They can be exchanged or returned for store credit.

 

SWIFT 30 DAY FIT POLICY

Swift’s 30 Day Fit Policy applies to Swift boats only – other brands purchased at our Ontario retail stores are not eligible for this offer.

 When you purchase a Swift Canoe, Kayak or Pack Boat from one of our Ontario Swift stores, we guarantee a “Perfect Fit” based upon our knowledgeable staff’s ability to identify the right boat to suit your needs.

This means that you have 30 days after picking up your canoe or kayak to try it out under your “normal conditions”. If during the 30 day period you are not satisfied that the boat you have chosen suits your needs and paddling style, you can return it and we will be happy to exchange it for a model that better suits your needs.

*Boats being exchanged under this guarantee are subject to a $100 admin fee and other costs to be determined based on use and wear. The boat you choose may also be subject to some upgrade costs should you choose a different model and/or laminate.

The “Perfect Fit Guarantee” can only be used once on any purchase.

 

HOW TO RETURN

IN PERSON – Please bring the item(s) you wish to return, along with a copy of your invoice/receipt to the store that you purchased from and our staff will be happy to help you.

BY MAIL – We do not offer free return shipping so please feel free to use the courier/shipping service of your choice. Prior to sending back your goods please notify us by emailing ken.gardner@swiftcanoe.com to let us know you are returning an item and whether you are requesting a refund or an exchange.

Package the item(s) to be returned in a box, please clearly write your invoice number on the box.

Address to: Swift Outdoor Centre, 2394 Highway 11 North, Gravenhurst, Ontario, P1P 1R1. Mail in returns will be accepted for 30 days from the original date of purchase

Returns by mail are received Monday to Friday. Once we receive your return we check that the product and packaging are in their original condition and then we issue a refund. Once the refund is issued it can take up to 5 business days for it to appear on your credit card statement.

 

ONLINE RETURN POLICY

We are happy to accept returns FOR ONLINE PURCHASES for a full refund within 30 days of the ship date. All items must be in new, unused condition with all original packaging and your purchase receipt.

Products purchased through our online store cannot be exchanged. They can be returned for a refund only. We would then invite you to place a new order for the product that would better suit your needs.

Please note – shipping costs are non refundable.

Canoes, kayaks and paddleboards cannot be returned for refund, but can be exchanged if necessary

Value will be based on condition of product returned (i.e. unused product in new, sellable condition would be eligible for full credit).

The customer will be responsible for returning the product to our main store in Gravenhurst.

 

DAMAGED SHIPMENT OR SHIPPING ERROR

Please inspect your items upon receipt. For items damaged in shipping, or if we shipped you the wrong item please call us at 705-687-3710 within 7 days of receiving.

 

DEFECTIVE ITEMS

Many of the products we sell come with warranties from the manufacturer and we are proud to be selling quality paddling gear. If you discover, within 60 days, that an item you purchased from us is defective you will have the option of a replacement (if the item is in stock), store credit or we can return the defective item to the manufacturer for repair or replacement.

If you believe your item to be defective please call us at 705-687-3710 or email webstore@swiftcanoe.com to discuss. If possible, attach pictures of the defect and note when it was purchased.

Unless an error occurred on our part in the shipment of your order or if the product is defective, shipping fees charged at time of order will not be refunded and the cost of return shipping will be the responsibility of the customer. We do not accept COD returns.
